Right now, we’re looking for an Intermediate Accountant with around 3 – 4 years’ experience who’s keen to step beyond “just compliance” and help businesses move forward to succeed.

This role is based in our Christchurch office.

You’ll be an accountant who:

• Has a tertiary accounting qualification
• Has solid experience in business services and compliance (ideally 3 – 4 years)
• Knows your way around Xero or is keen to get even better at it
• Communicates clearly, honestly, and with clients in mind
• Enjoys solving real problems for real businesses
• Likes learning and doesn’t shy away from trying something new
• Is looking for a team where people genuinely get along
• Wants to drive forward and progress their career

What you need to have:

• Seniors – Your CA qualification and 5+ years experience
• Intermediates – Your CA (or mostly completed) and 3+ years experience
• Fantastic verbal and written English
• Excellent client management and communication skills
• Ideally have experience working with Xero and other connected apps
• Sound technical accounting knowledge and the ability to learn new systems
• Professionalism, competence, dedication, willingness, intelligence, and if you have all of that, the ability to have fun too!
